Course code: ME5144-01 Prerequisite: Basic Heat Transfer (MC 3201) This course introduces the fundamental transport phenomena associated with phase change processes, and the specific topics include the properties of two-phase flow, condensation, and boiling. This course also develops analytical tools for design and performance assessment of two-phase devices.

Course Description
Course Description: This course is designed for the student to build an appreciation for the fundamentals and practical applications of classical thermodynamics, which will also enhance the understanding of thermodynamics principles and their relevance to the problems of humankind. The student will be provided with a variety of examples making them experience how thermodynamic principles are applied to predict physical phenomena and to solve engineering problmes.
